In a new YouTube video, Ubisoft head of content Jean Guesdon outlined the future of the Assassin's Creed franchise — and dropped the bombshell confirmation fans have been waiting for.
The accompanying website update leaned into the mystery with a cheeky nod to the series' famous creed:
"Speculation around Assassin's Creed is not new, but it's worth repeating: 'Nothing is true. Everything is permitted.' Well, except in this case, some whispers have a little more wind in their sails. Keep your spyglass on the horizon."
Unfortunately, that's all we got. No trailer, no release window, no gameplay details — just confirmation that it exists and more news is coming. Insiders have teased that we could hear more this summer, but nothing's locked in yet.
