Hey, Daily Quest readers! If you’re a PlayStation Plus Premium (or Deluxe) subscriber, you don’t have to wait until January 20 to start your Hawaiian adventure. While the full January Game Catalog officially drops next Tuesday, a clever "early access" loophole is currently available.
The 10-Hour Head Start
Because Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth has a 10-hour full game trial available for Premium members, you can download and start playing the actual game today.
Progress Carries Over: Every level you gain, every "Sujimon" you battle, and every trophy you earn during the trial will carry over seamlessly to the full version when it joins the Extra/Premium catalog on the 20th.
A Massive Trial: While most PS Plus trials are capped at 1-3 hours, Infinite Wealth gives you a generous 10 hours—plenty of time to get through the Yokohama prologue and touch down in Honolulu.
January 2026 PS Plus Extra & Premium Lineup
Beyond the early start for Ichiban’s latest quest, Sony has confirmed a heavy-hitting lineup for the month. These titles will be available for all Extra and Premium members starting January 20:
| Title | Platform | Highlights |
| Resident Evil Village | PS5, PS4 | Ethan Winters' gothic horror climax. Perfect hype for RE: Requiem next month! |
| Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth | PS5, PS4 | Massive turn-based RPG set in Hawaii. |
| A Quiet Place: The Road Ahead | PS5 | High-tension stealth horror based on the film franchise. |
| Darkest Dungeon II | PS5, PS4 | The brutal roguelike road trip finally hits the catalog. |
| Expeditions: A MudRunner Game | PS5, PS4 | Off-road exploration and vehicle management. |
| The Exit 8 | PS5, PS4 | The viral "spot the anomaly" walking simulator. |
| Art of Rally | PS5, PS4 | Stylized, top-down racing from the golden age of rally. |
| A Little to the Left | PS5, PS4 | A cozy organizing puzzle game (watch out for the cat!). |
| Ridge Racer (Classics) | PS5, PS4 | (Premium Only) The PS1 arcade classic with rewind/save features. |
No Subscription? Try These Free Demos Instead
If you aren't a PS Plus member, there are several brand-new "Stealth-Dropped" demos available for everyone on the PS Store this week:
Star Trek: Voyager – Across the Unknown: Play the first hour of this survival-strategy game. No PS Plus required.
BlazBlue Entropy Effect X: A stylish action-roguelike with a "mysterious bonus" reward for completing the demo.
Pragmata (Updated Demo): Capcom’s long-awaited sci-fi title has a fresh slice of gameplay available ahead of its late 2026 launch.
Final Drop: The "Yakuza" Surge
With Infinite Wealth arriving on the service and the Yakuza Kiwami 3 remake rumored for a February reveal, it’s a great time to be an RGG Studio fan. If you haven't played Like a Dragon: Gaiden yet, we recommend finishing that first, as it directly sets the stage for the story in Infinite Wealth.
What’s your take, Quest squad? Are you diving into the 10-hour trial today, or are you saving your energy for the Lady Dimitrescu encounters in Village? Let us know in the comments!
