Epic Games has pulled back the curtain on Fortnite Chapter 7 and beyond by updating their public Creator Trello board. This year is set to be one of the most transformative in the game's history, featuring a revamped Pacific-themed map, the return of iconic factions, and the anticipated launch of Chapter 8.
The Current Era: Chapter 7 Season 1 "Pacific Break"
The year kicks off in the middle of Pacific Break, which launched in late 2025. This season completely overhauled the core mechanics of the Battle Royale:
The Golden Coast: A new map inspired by Hollywood and the West Coast, featuring POIs like Battlewood Boulevard and Latte Landing.
Surf the Tsunami: The Battle Bus has been replaced; players now surf a massive tsunami onto the island, choosing their drop based on where they "embark."
New Mobility: Drivable Reboot Vans and Wingsuits have changed how squads rotate and revive.
Battle Pass Freedom: Players can now unlock cosmetic sets in any order, featuring collaborations like The Bride (Kill Bill) and Marty McFly (Back to the Future).
