After years of development and testing, Ubisoft has announced that Rainbow Six Mobile will see its global launch on February 23, 2026, for both iOS and Android devices. The free-to-play tactical first-person shooter aims to replicate the core Rainbow Six Siege experience while being "developed exclusively" for mobile devices.
Game Details
The game, which was originally announced in 2022 and has been conducting public tests since 2023, features:
5v5 Multiplayer Modes: Bomb, Bomb Rush, and Team Deathmatch.
Operators: Over 20 classic Operators are available.
Maps: Features familiar maps inspired by Rainbow Six Siege, including Bank, Border, and Clubhouse, in addition to mobile-exclusive maps like Restaurant and Summit.
Onboarding: An in-depth tutorial is included to help new and returning players learn the mechanics.
Live Service: Ubisoft has promised that new content will be added with each new season.
Players in regions that were part of Ubisoft's soft launch, such as Poland, France, Canada, and Latin America, can already access and play the game.
Rainbow Six Siege Context
The global rollout of the mobile version comes as the 10-year-old console and PC title, Rainbow Six Siege, continues to maintain a dedicated, though evolving, fanbase. Ubisoft noted that the main title saw "softer trends" in the latest quarter, attributing it to a "phase of evolution for the game in an intense FPS environment."
