Fortnite's latest Winterfest celebration has arrived, bringing map changes, the return of the Winterfest Cabin, and a series of quests with exclusive rewards. Unlike previous years, daily login is crucial this time, as presents no longer stack.
The event runs from December 18, 2025, to January 5, 2026.
Winterfest Battle Royale Quests
These quests are released in "Drops" every two days. Each completed quest awards 12,000 XP.
Drop 1: Gift to the Stars
Collect a Perfect Gift from a chest: Open any loot chest for a chance to find this item.
Bring a Perfect Gift to any character: Deliver the gift to any non-hostile NPC on the map.
Damage Yule Trooper or any other boss (500 points): Find the new seasonal boss, Yule Trooper, or any other map boss and deal damage.
Drop 2: Passion for Presents
Bring a Perfect Gift to The Bride, Carter Wu, or Kingston: Specific NPCs located at Sandy Strip (The Bride), Latte Landing (Carter Wu), and Bumpy Bay (Kingston).
Travel 60 distance with Icy Feet: Use the Icy Feet item (often dropped by Yule Trooper) to slide.
Search 5 chests at Clawsy Lodge or Tiptop Terrace: These snowy locations are on either side of Wonkeeland.
Upcoming Drops
Drop 3 (Dec 22): Involves bringing a gift to Marty McFly, Heroic Hope, or Carina, and reaching 88mph in a Whiplash Time Machine.
Drop 4 (Dec 24): Involves finding Lt. Winter at Crackshot Cabin.
The "Squad Up!" Quests and Starbrite Slasher
A special set of milestone quests is available in Squads versions of Battle Royale, Reload, OG, or Blitz. These focus on collecting Shiny Llamas, which drop from rare chests, supply drops, or defeated enemies.
Milestone Rewards: You earn 12,000 XP for every 100 Shiny Llamas collected.
Main Reward: Collecting 400 Shiny Llamas unlocks the Starbrite Slasher pickaxe.
Progress: Llamas collected by any member of your squad count for everyone.
Winterfest Cabin Presents
Visit the Winterfest Cabin (accessed via the snowflake icon in the lobby) to open one gift per day. There are 14 presents in total.

Important Note: You must log in daily to open your gift. If you miss too many days, you will be unable to claim the final rewards like the Cheeks skin before the event ends on January 5.
