The Precious Paths season officially begins on December 2 at 10 AM local time, and with it comes the chance to earn a new Master Ball. However, this highly desired item won’t be free. Players will need to purchase a $7.99 USD (or regional equivalent) ticket to access the related Masterwork Research.
Purchasing the ticket doesn’t grant an immediate Master Ball. Instead, it unlocks a special line of Masterwork Research tasks—typically long-term, high-difficulty objectives. While the exact tasks for Precious Paths haven't been revealed yet, past Master Ball research required players to catch hundreds of Pokémon, hatch eggs, use berries, and complete other multi-step challenges.
