Playboi Carti has officially confirmed that he will be collaborating with Fortnite, sparking major excitement among fans of both the artist and Epic Games' hit battle royale. The news arrives just as Fortnite wraps up its massive crossover with The Simpsons, which transformed the map into a cel-shaded world filled with locations from the beloved TV series.
As Fortnite approaches its big Zero Hour live event, players can expect a chapter finale packed with characters from many of Chapter 6’s biggest crossovers. At the same time, Epic Games has already started teasing what’s coming next in Chapter 7. Confirmed additions include The Bride from Kill Bill and a potential Back to the Future crossover hinted by recent teasers. With hype building quickly, fans are eager for every new detail.
Playboi Carti Confirms Fortnite Collaboration
Rumors began circulating on Twitter after several Fortnite leakers suggested that Playboi Carti would soon be joining the game. The speculation ended when Carti himself posted the Fortnite logo on Instagram, adding the caption: “NAHH FR.” While details are still under wraps, reputable leaker Kurrco claims that the collaboration may include cosmetics and a live musical event.
Fortnite's Ongoing Push Into Music
This isn’t Fortnite’s first big rap collaboration. Eminem, Travis Scott, and others have already appeared, and Epic even coordinated a musical event in Times Square where Snoop Dogg and Ice Spice helped launch the Chapter 2 Remix mini-season in late 2024. Many fans are hoping Playboi Carti’s crossover might receive similar large-scale treatment.
