AdHoc Studio has rolled out a small—but hugely impactful—update for Dispatch, finally resolving one of the game’s most frustrating issues: a broken trophy that prevented players from earning the Platinum. For a narrative-driven title that encourages multiple playthroughs and careful decision-making, locking out a major achievement was a significant irritation for completionists. Luckily, that era is now over.
A Big Fix in a Small Patch
Since its release, Dispatch has won fans over with its gripping episodic storytelling, stellar cast—including Aaron Paul, Laura Bailey, and Erin Yvette—and meaningful, consequence-driven choices. Its strong reception even earned it a nomination for Best Debut Indie Game at the 2025 Game Awards.
However, the experience hasn’t been without issues. One problem in particular—the H4ck3d by R0b3rt trophy—quickly became infamous.
The Trophy That Blocked the Platinum
The H4ck3d by R0b3rt trophy requires players to complete every hacking segment flawlessly. But a glitch prevented it from unlocking even after perfect runs. Because the trophy is tied to the Platinum, PlayStation players found themselves unable to finish their trophy collection no matter how clean their playthroughs were.
AdHoc Studio’s November 19, 2025 update finally resolves the problem.
Even better: players who already met the requirements will automatically receive the trophy upon launching the game or loading the correct save file. Anyone who already completed the rest of Dispatch’s list can now secure the Platinum at last.
More Fixes for a Smoother Experience
Beyond the headline trophy fix, the update addresses several other issues:
-
Min Max now unlocks properly when raising a hero’s stat to 10 using a random point.
-
A safeguard prevents accidental save file deletion.
-
Several crashes and softlocks—including the dreaded Fatal Error on launch—have been resolved.
-
Improved stability, hacking level refinements, character relationship tuning, and multiple audio/visual polish updates round out the patch.
What’s Next for Dispatch?
With all eight episodes now released, fans are naturally curious about the future of the franchise. Co-founder and CCO Pierre Shorette recently confirmed that AdHoc Studio hasn’t ruled out a second season. While nothing is confirmed, the game’s strong performance and passionate community suggest new stories in the Dispatch universe are far from impossible.
