Borderlands 4 November 6 Update: Small Patch, Big Wins!

Hey Vault Hunters! 🎮 Gearbox just dropped a small but mighty update for Borderlands 4—and if you main Amon or Rafa, you’re in for a treat.

No new story missions or DLCs this week, but two key fixes make a real difference. Plus, the weekly reset brings fresh chaos. Let’s go!

 

🔥 Amon & Rafa Got a Power Boost (Finally!)

Their signature passives, Dragon’s Breath (Amon) and First Impression (Rafa), were bugged. Instead of boosting each bullet, they only boosted the total shot. So shotguns and multi-pellet guns felt weaker than they should.

Now fixed!
✅ Bonus applies to every projectile
✅ More damage—especially with shotguns, burst-fire, or spread weapons
✅ Builds that felt “meh” now feel dangerous

Gearbox says: “This makes them work as intended.” Translation: They’re finally as cool as the skill tree promised.

🔫 Phosphene Hunters, Rejoice!

The Complex Root (Maliwan legendary sniper rifle) can now drop in Phosphene form—the ultra-rare, glowing-orange tier above Legendary.

Was the drop chance increased? Unclear. But it was broken before, and now it’s working. Still super rare (as it should be!), but at least it’s possible.

🔄 Weekly Reset = New Stuff to Grind

Every Tuesday, Borderlands 4 refreshes content. This week’s highlights:
