FF14 Starlight Celebration 2025: Free Emotes & Loot!

 It is officially that time of year again, Warriors of Light! With 2025 rapidly coming to a close, Eorzea is getting ready to deck the halls. Square Enix has just confirmed the details for this year's Starlight Celebration, and if you love collecting emotes and cozy housing items, you are in for a treat.

Before we dive into the holiday cheer, keep in mind that December is absolutely stacked for Final Fantasy 14. We aren't just getting Santa hats; Patch 7.4 is dropping this month too! That update brings the conclusion to the Arcadion Raid series, new MSQ content, and the feature we have all been dreaming of: the removal of most glamour restrictions.

But first, let's talk about the free stuff coming next week!

Where and When to Start the Party

Get your sleighs ready because the festivities kick off on December 17, 2025, at midnight PST.

You don't have forever to grab these rewards, though. The event runs for exactly two weeks, wrapping up on December 31 at 6:59 am PST. To get started, you just need to be at least Level 15. Head over to Old Gridania and make your way to Mih Khetto's Amphitheatre.

Look for the NPC Amh Garanjy (located at X:10.2, Y:9.4). She is usually the one organizing the chaos, and she will have the quest you need to start unlocking your presents.

Sip, Gulp, and Decorate

This year's rewards are all about staying warm and cozy. The highlight is a set of six new emotes centered around enjoying hot beverages.

We are getting two variations for each of the three starter cities:

• Gridanian Sip & Gulp

• Ul'dahn Sip & Gulp

• Lominsan Sip & Gulp

Based on the previews, the "Sip" and "Gulp" animations look distinctive, with each city featuring its own unique seasonal mug design.

For the housing enthusiasts (or "Housing Savages"), we are getting matching tabletop items. You can grab the Ul'dahn and Lominsan Kinderpunsch sets. These aren't just pretty; they are functional food items that grant buffs like a +4% Piety bonus and +3% EXP bonus. There are also purely decorative stacks of mugs to place around your house. If you played during the 2024 event, these will complete your collection alongside the Gridanian mugs from last year!

The Road to 2026

Once the Starlight Celebration wraps up, don't worry about a content drought. The first half of 2026 is packed with our favorite recurring events. We will roll right into Heavensturn to celebrate the New Year, followed by Valentione's Day in February and Little Ladies' Day in March.

Plus, we have the massive Fan Festival coming up in April 2026, where we will likely get our first real look at the next major expansion.
