Overwatch 2 players have yet another reason to tune in to their favorite streamers. Blizzard has just kicked off a brand-new Twitch Drops campaign to celebrate the game’s mid-Season 19 update, giving fans a handful of spooky rewards — including two ghostly Sprays, plus both a Common and an Epic Loot Box. The event runs from now until November 25, and the best part is that players can earn everything simply by watching up to nine hours of any Overwatch 2 stream on Twitch.
The latest update brings a ton of fresh content to the game, including the long-awaited Story feature, several hero balance changes, and the new Cyber Fuel Junkrat Mythic skin. It also introduces Spirit Showdown, a chaotic limited-time deathmatch mode where players swap heroes after every elimination or after dying twice.
How to Unlock the Overwatch 2 Mid-Season 19 Twitch Drops
Getting these rewards is easy — all you need to do is connect your Battle.net and Twitch accounts, then watch any streamer in the Overwatch 2 category before November 25 at 11:58 PM PT. Here’s what you’ll earn as you watch:
-
1.5 Hours: Cute Experiment Spray
-
3 Hours: Cute Haunts Spray
-
5 Hours: Common Loot Box
-
9 Hours: Epic Loot Box
Once the required watch time is complete, players just need to claim their rewards from their Twitch Drops inventory. The Loot Boxes will then appear automatically in their Overwatch 2 account.
These two new Sprays are exclusive to this event and fit perfectly with the spooky aesthetic of Season 19 — even if they arrived a couple of weeks after Halloween. Both designs feature stitched-up creatures like cats, pumpkins, and teddy bears, making them an adorable addition to any collection.
More Overwatch 2 Drops Are Coming Soon
Players who want even more freebies won’t have to wait long. From November 26–30, fans can earn additional Loot Boxes, Battle Pass Tier Skips, and OWCS skins by watching the Overwatch Champions Series World Finals on Twitch.
And for those grinding in-game, there are still plenty of opportunities to grab extra rewards. Completing eight challenges in the Spirit Showdown event before November 25 will grant an Epic Loot Box, while Junkrat’s Loot Hunt from November 20–23 will reward up to nine Common Loot Boxes.
With Twitch Drops, limited-time events, and more on the horizon, it’s a great time to jump back into Overwatch 2 — whether you’re tuning in for the rewards or diving into the chaos of Spirit Showdown.
